Little Gem Magnolia

Little Gem Magnolia is an experimental music/poetry film. It is a window into the relationship between an artist and his muse, Ayva a new immigrant to New Orleans. With her visa soon to expire, Ayva (Little Gem Magnolia) has to make a choice to either return to her country that is turning authoritarian, remain in New Orleans illegally or seek an arrangement with the artist, a married man.

Little Gem Magnolia explores risk and consequence in an ever-changing world.

Based on the short story by Paul Rabinowitz. Music Composed by Tom Mariano and Jordan Rabinowitz.
